Charles’ Pet Portrait

This darling pup was an original blend of a little bit of maybe lab, collie and husky. Charles passed away almost a year ago after 13 years as a beloved family dog. My client gave this as a gift card for Christmas to her parents and the whole family. In her own words: “we have plenty of photos and could easily print and frame them, however I wanted to get something for them that is a bit more personal. Something that could capture how truly special he was, and how important he was in all of our hearts.”

The whole family was part of the process and when it came to the background color, we chose among 9 different softer and lighter colors to bring a ‘soft feel’ to the portrait.
