Ahhh and the tulips are back! This is a pretty field of tulips, similar to the Field of Tulips which later inspired Tulip Landscape. From the holiday season up until mid-April I crave tulips and often have a fresh bouquet on the dining table, and this year I bought several dark purple ones. Such a lovely color. I just want to pick these!
Field of Purple Tulips measures 8×10 inches and is painted on a 1.5 inches deep gallery wrapped canvas (20 x 25 x 4cm), and it features lovely tulips against a very light blue sky. In Swedish we call this “frog perspective” where you paint something from the ground up – imagine yourself laying on the grass and looking up to the sky through some tulips. They sky continues onto all sides, and it’s ready to hang as is.
Once the bidding is over and this painting has a winner, I will ship it via USPS Priority Mail or US Priority International Mail Globally. It will be packaged very carefully.
