We woke up to snow on the ground yesterday and after another full day of constant snow fall we probably got almost a foot – still, it has almost all melted away already. I recently talked about the weird DC weather here so it probably comes as no surprise to you that we’re already expecting warm weather this weekend.
I’ve longed for a winter wonderland all winter and have lived vicariously through friends and family in Sweden who has had snow-covered streets since November. And right when they are seeing the sun again (yes, it’s actually that morbid) we finally got a real snowstorm. But that was enough for me. The shifting weather suits my gemini- and artist-persona so i’m all for the 60 degrees we’re getting this Sunday.
Are you seeing signs of spring where you live?
Some bonds never really leave us.
They simply find new ways to stay close.
