And here we are, at the end of the Spring Art Auction 2013, and maybe the 10th painting is the beginning for Lola’s stardom. FINALLY, a painting of my darling little Lola who has been so patient with me seeing pet after pet being painted on the easel. She is a poser, my Lola, so there are many more where this came from. If this is a popular piece, maybe I’ll consider doing a “Lola series.” What do you think? This girl is a healer for sure so she would spread a lot of good energy into the world with her pieces.
I absolutely love this piece. I’m so thrilled with it and think it is such a soulful, relaxing, hopeful and inspiring piece, with a little bit of magic in it.
Lola in the Sky measures 8×10 inches and is painted on a 1.5 inches deep gallery wrapped canvas (20 x 25 x 4cm). She’s looking up towards the sky, maybe she sees a bird or something else has grabbed her attention. The background is a calm grayish-blue sky which continues onto all sides of the painting. It’s ready to hang on the wall.
