“Spreading My Wings” – Painting a Day No 8

How about that for something different? I’ve always wanted to paint a butterfly and this seemed like a great time for it. “Spreading My Wings” is an original acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. It measures 12×12 inches and is 1.5 inches deep. This is the 8th painting of 10 paintings! Whew. 

The painting is of a soft gray butterfly. The background has white with the surprise of a faint yellow green around the right wing which you only see up close. All sides are painted white so it can hang with or without a frame.

The painting is signed on the front and signed, titled and dated on the back. I will package it carefully for protection and ship it via USPS.
