Berkley’s Pet Portrait

Berkley’s Pet Portrait is an original painting commissioned by a client who owns several of my original paintings. She wanted give her husband a special gift for Christmas. She shared with me that when they had moved in together, they had to give away his two dogs because she was severely allergic to them. Since then, Berkley, a beautiful and very loving boxer, has passed away and she wanted to memorialize him in this special way.
“The painting is beautiful and you captured him perfectly. My daughter and I both teared up when we saw it. My husband loved it! Thank you so much for a gorgeous painting!” And after a few months: “The painting hasn’t been mounted in the man-cave like we planned. It’s currently on our console table and we walk past it every day. I’ve gotten so used glancing over at him that I don’t even want to move it. You did such an amazing job capturing the life and innocence in his young eyes. Both my husband and I thank you so much!”
