Maya’s Pet Portrait

This was a surprise Christmas gift from a husband to his wife, but he couldn’t resist hinting and said a few months ahead of time “I’ve gotten you something very special, but it will take months to make.” On Christmas she received the gift certificate for my pet portraits with the full experience of working together with the artist her self.
Maya is a young happy and energetic Alaskan Klee Kai (think mini husky). She wears a bright pink name collar and we used that to inspire her background color to represent her true essence. What a fun and lively portrait, just like Maya.
