Levi’s Pet Portrait

Levi was my client’s constant companion for 14 years – a handsome fellow with a “Dennis the Menace” reputation but gentle and loving beyond measure. He was a tri-colored cardigan Welsh Corgi who never left his dad’s side, even laying at his feet as he worked from home: “he was my constant companion and sometimes I think only I understood him.” This portrait celebrates Levi and all the unconditional love he gave.

We settled for a warm and soothing redish brown background color after initially starting with deep blues (my client’s favorite color) and blazing orange (in honor of Levi’s collar).
