Hayworth’s Pet Portrait
BY ERICA ERIKSDOTTER
Sweet Hayworth. This labrador and border collie mix was named after the street she was rescued on as a puppy in Los Angeles. She lived with her pet parents for 12 years and was the perfect companion. “One morning she jumped off the bed with me and walked into the kitchen to say goodbye to Robert, laid down and passed away.”
This custom original acrylic painting was won by a Hollywood celebrity at the first Knock Out Abuse West‘s silent auction. The winner gave it as a gift to her best friends as she knew Hayworth was getting older.
In one of the photos my client shared with me, Hayworth was laying on their beautiful slate patio and it just felt like the perfect balance for her fur and the owner’s masculine decor.
